Our department was opened within the State Conservatory on 08.04.2020 in accordance with Article 7/d-2 of Law No. 2547, amended by Law No. 2880. It operates with its sub-units, named Turkish Folk Music Art Major and Turkish Art Music Art Major.
The Turkish Art Music Art Major has started its education activities in 2022-2023 Academic Year with 10 (ten) students. The activation of education in the Turkish Folk Music Art Major is in progress.
